Rami Attallah Acoustic Trio at Room Art Space

Room is inviting you to this charming jazz night with Rami Attallah & Andre Segone and Miguel Merino

Three jazz musicians and friends performing originals and jazz standards there own way. With Rami Attallah on Piano and Andre Segone on bass and Miguel Merino on Drums, make sure not to miss such an exceptional performance.

Rami Attallah:

Born in Cairo in the year 1988, Rami Attallah grew to be one of the youngest jazz pianists on

the professional musical scene in Egypt.

He recently received a scholarship from the French government for his studies at le CIM (Jazz School and Contemporary Music) in Paris, France for the studying year 2016 – 2017.

Rami evolved into becoming a successful and talented composer, having composed over fiftysongs. He has worked on tens of arrangements and side projects.

He is the founder of the Rami Attallah Group performing his own compositions as well as

being the main pianist of the Riff Band Jazz Group and the Los Compadres Latin Jazz Group.

Furthermore he plays with other groups like Lena Chamamyan,

Macadi Nahhas, Ahmed Nazmi Quartet and Furat Qaddouri Music Group.

Performed in more than 15 International Music Festivals all over the world.

Rami released his first album "Shokran JAZZilan" at the Cairo Jazz Festival in March 2014 and

his second album "A Conversation" with the Egyptian singer Noha Fekry in June 2015.

Andre Segone:

Andre Segone is both an upright and a bass player . He studied music both in Lebanon and France at the Centre des musiques Didier Lockwood. He performed and recorded with both great artists in the region and international names from Fathi Salama, Ziad Rahbani, Tania Saleh, Ghalia Benali, Youssou Ndour, Salif Keita, Angélique Kidjo, Charles Davis , Arthur Satyan to name a few.
